Island Park

We just got back from 10 days at Island Park. It doesn't get much better than that. I could have stayed longer. The first part of the week we were there with Grant's family. It is super fun. We do it every year over the 4th of July. We get to go out on the lake and watch the fireworks. It is really fun. This year the kids were in the Island Park Parade. We drove them around the island while they threw candy. They thought it was pretty cool. We just eat like kings, lay around and play in the lake. The last part of the week my family was able to come up this year. It was really fun. We about killed each other on the tube. I loved it! Mason loved it as well. You couldn't get him off. He even got on the knee board. He liked it until the water splashed up in his face.
These are the boys, Jack, Walker, Mason and Carston. Boy are they trouble. Watch out! Good thing they are way too cute!

This is the almighty tube. It is me, Ashley and my dad. Make it big and check out our faces. No joke, I have bruises on my arms from flying elbows. Way too much fun. That is the cabin in the background.

What a busy Summer!

I can't believe this summer! It all started the first
weekend in May...
Mason got glasses. My Birthday! Well, Mason got his tonsils out.
So not really a birthday.
The next weekend was Mother's Day and
busy going from house to house.
The next weekend Grant and I went to Las Vegas with his family for his Mom's Birthday.
The next weekend was Memorial Day Weekend. BBQ's and all that jazz.
The first weekend in June was Lake Powell baby with Grant's Family. Lots of fun.
The next weekend was supposed to be Girl's Camp but ended up in
Idaho for a funeral...Grandpa Walker passed away on June 8th.
The next two weekends have been scout camp for Grant
and Father's Day was somewhere in there.
Can you say CRAZY! Not to mention that since the first of May we have had, no joke, 20 family birthdays, my birthday, Mason's birthday and our anniversary, 7 years! I have so many pictures but I don't even know where to start. I will have to pick a couple and get them on here. I need to get a picture of Mason and his new glasses. He is such a handsome boy.

Spring Break

My family all went down to the Grand Canyon for Spring Break. It was a lot of fun. We went to go and see some sun but I think that it was warmer at home than where we went. It was still a blast. We went and stayed in Page, AZ and then went down to the Grand Canyon. Then we went and stayed in Kanab, UT and then went up to the Bryce Canyon and stayed there. Lots of driving, over 1100 miles! I think that everyone had a good time. I am glad that we went. The break was well needed!

I had to add this picture of Carston. He saw this hat in the gift shop in Bryce and he wouldn't take it off. He plays like he is riding a horse when he wears it. He thinks that it makes him tough. It makes me laugh. He woke up in the morning wanting to know where his hat was and still hasn't taken it off.

Sportsman's Expo

A little late, but a couple of weekends ago we went up to Salt Lake to the Sportman's Expo. It was a lot of fun. The boys got to fish and Mason climbed up the rock wall. He was so brave and about got to the top. Afterwords we went to Los Hermanos for dinner. Still me favorite after all this time!
Big brother teaching Carston how to fish.

Little brother Carston trying to lick the fish. Don't ask!

Can't forget the pircture of Ron and Mary and us. The looked so different in real life! We couldn't believe it. They were SO tall and skinny!
