Tub Time

"Carston, let's go get in the tub with Mason. Carston?" says mom.

This is one kid that I haven't ever had a problem with getting in the tub, with or without clothes. I went to put him in the tub the other morning and he had beat me to it. How can you get mad at such a cute little face?

My Little Monkey!

Bed? I am not going to bed!
What am I going to do? I have a little monkey on my hands. I put him to bed the other night and all of the sudden he is standing next to me. I tried again and there he was. He has wanted to climb and jump off things before he could walk but getting out of his crib at 19 months? He is so fast and learns too quick. What's going to be next?

First Day of School

My little guys first day of preschool. He was so excited to go to school again this year that he could hardly stand it. He has been asking me for months when school was going to start again. He has already made some friends in school and is planning on having a party. He isn't shy and makes friends with everyone. I can't believe that next year he will be starting kindergarten. Time goes by way to fast!

Fairview

Labor Day weekend we went up to my Aunt Jeana's cabin. The boys had fun with the four wheelers and all the yummy treats. Carston was busy chasing around all the dogs. He has a thing for animals. We had some yummy hamburgers, corn on the cob, potato salad, chips and salsa and lots of treats. My Aunt Lisa and her family also came down from Idaho to visit. It was nice to spend time with them.

My new favorite past time....

making cakes! I really enjoy making birthday cakes. This cake was for my nephew, Evan. He is crazy about popcorn so I thought that it would be fun to make him a bowl of popcorn for his birthday cake. I will be busy in October with lots of birthdays in our family.

Payson Swimming Pool

We went swimming at the Payson Pool the other night. It was fun but got pretty cold when the sun went down. Mason is a little fish. Carston likes to jump in but when his lips were purple we decided that it was probably time to get out!

Spanish Fork Canyon

What a kid! Carston cracks me up. He is a strange child and doesn't show a lot of emotion but I tell you what, if he is doing something he shouldn't, this is the face we get. He has a mind of his own. We decided that we would head up the canyon for the night and make a dutch oven dinner and have a fire and hang out with the kids. I kept telling Carston to give me the cake mix for the cobbler and he would grab it, pull this face and run. We had fun throwing rocks in the river and hanging out. Grant made some really good pork chops and potatoes with zucchini. It was delicious! Then we made a really good peach cobbler. The kids really enjoyed it. I hope we can do it again really soon.

The Face that I Love!
